Blurb Since the car crash that took her father’s life two years ago, Emma’s life has been a freaky—and unending—lesson in caution. Surviving “accidents” has taken priority over being a normal seventeen-year-old, so Emma spends her days taking pictures of life instead of living it. Falling in love with a boy was never part of the plan. Falling for a reaper who makes her chest ache and her head spin? Not an option.   It’s not easy being dead especially for a reaper in love with a girl fate has put on his list not once, but twice. Finn’s fellow reapers give him hell about spending time with Emma, but Finn couldn’t let her die before, and he’s not about to let her die now. He will protect the girl he loves from the evil he accidentally unleashed, even if it means sacrificing the only thing he has left...his soul. Guest Review: Lucy @ Keep It Real With Lucy - Catching Jordan Review

Image
Today I will be have a guest coming to Stuck In YA Books. Lucy from Keep It Real With Lucy !! Here is her review of Catching Jordan by Miranda Kenneally !! I LOVED this book! It was amazing! The romance, the relationships, it's not often you see all of this in a book! One of my favorite parts of the book, is the relationship Jordan has with her teammates. They get along really well, and you don't always see that much acceptance when it comes to boys and girls playing on the same sports teams. I play golf, and basketball, and I love playing with the opposite gender! They are competitive in many different ways, and they also love to have fun! Below are some topics I wanted to touch base on: Girls Playing with Boys: According to statistics there are over 1,200 female high school football players across the country. What are some of the positives and negatives of blurring the lines between female and male sports? Do you support it? - YES! I def

Guest Review: Sara @ The Page Sage: The Iron King

Image
Here is a review for The Iron King by Julie Kagawa from my friend Sara @ The Page Sage TheIron King by Julie Kagawa (Iron Fey #1) All Meghan wanted to do was get her driver’s license and escape her small town, but that was before her brother, Ethan, was kidnapped. In order to save him, she’ll have to go with her best friend into the Nevernever, a fantastical land full of dangers. It’s a world  of powerful kings, conniving creatures, and treacherous deals, and Meghan will be lucky to make it out alive, let alone with her brother. After reading The Iron King, I understand why this series has such a huge following. Kagawa’s writing style is addictive, and Meghan is an admirable heroine. She’s devoted to her brother (loyalty to siblings is always a plus), and she’s brave in an honest way (she admits to being scared, but doesn’t let her fears stop her). Another amazing aspect of this book is the world-building. I’m not sure I can get across how absolutely astounding it is. I
